Vessels was filmed at Drop Bear Brewery, a queer-led Swansea-based brewery producing exclusively non-alcoholic beer.
Vessels merges a DIY approach to brewing with the industrial processes of beer production, highlighting the shared methodologies and blurred boundaries between domestic and industrial practices whilst encouraging viewers to consider making their own.
The soundscape combines fermentation recordings captured with a hydrophone alongside the rhythmic mechanics of the canning line, drawing attention to the material culture of brewing and the vessels from historical cauldrons, to contemporary equipment that contain it. Throughout, the colour of greenscreen functions as a device to reveal what is invisible or forgotten.

Down the Hatch (2025), a solo exhibition commissioned by East Quay, Watchet and funded by Arts Council England.
